PAPCoRN

ELEGANT, BIO-DEGRADABLE AND DISPOSABLE PLATES
MADE OF FIBRES OF SUGAR CANE
Design: Anne Bannick

This plate is the result of more than 10 years of intensive work in developing enviromentally sound disposible dinner sets for e.g. picnics, receptions and for every day life. It is a beautifull and functional alternative to the common plastic and paper dinner sets. The plate is strong and durable and ideal for serving both warm and cold dishes. You may warm it up in the microwave as well as in the oven. The organic shape of the Papcorn plate creates an aesthetic framework for the food. After use you can simply put it in your compostbin.

In cooperation with Lene Vad Jensen an earlier version of the plate was made of bioplastic. However the newly developed pulp of sugar cane is far cheaper and a much better material for disposable plates.
